About SMS Messaging

Patients may text with their therapist by Opting-In to our SMS Text Messaging services. Patients may opt-in to SMS services via verbal consent with their therapist and utilizing the patient portal after intake is complete.

SMS texts are used for client appointment scheduling issues and in response to incoming texts or phone calls initiated by clients and are made depending on the client's needs. These are all individually written by the therapists to specific clients who have provided their contact information and given consent for text messaging through the patient portal or in person in the therapy office. There are NO automatic messages, no marketing messages, or any other similar activity.

By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from North Woods Counseling. This includes SMS messages for appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, post-visit instructions, lab notifications, and billing notifications. Message frequency varies. Privacy Policy

Your information is shared with no one and is not used for any marketing purposes. Your name and number, as provided at patient intake, will be used for the sole purpose to individual patient use and shared with no one externally.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
